Tommie Update!!

Well you’ve heard of the Oscars, The Golden Globes ….well Kelowna has the Tommies!

The Tommies are put on by the Canadian Home Builders Association of the Central Okanagan. Once a year awards for excellence are given to the residential home building community. Home builders and suppliers apply to be considered in many different categories here in Kelowna and all across Central BC. Like the Academy Awards there are nominees and each entry is judged on its own merit by a distinguished panel of highly qualified judges from outside of the Central Okanagan area, who are selected for their expertise in their field. An accounting firm chosen by CHBA CO monitors the judging process. No others will be allowed to observe the judging of entries.

This year we are honored with 10 Tommie Silver Finalist Awards:

• Excellence in Single Family Detached Home $500K – $750K
• Excellence in Kitchen Design Single Family Detached Home under $500K
• Excellence in Kitchen Design Single Family Detached Home $500K - $750K
• Excellence in Master Suite Design Single Family Detached Home $500K - $750
• Excellence in Creating an Interior Feature/ Innovation in a Home
• Excellence in Creating an Interior Feature/ Innovation in a Home
• Excellence in Marketing
• Excellence in Website Design
• Excellence in Show Home, Model Home, or Sales Center
• Excellence in Community Development

The gold awards will be announces at a Gala event on January 28th 2012.
